My story

I’m a Penn State student, and I run MakeAndUpdate, a web studio of one in West Chester, PA. Fundraising for THON is something I would be doing anyway. Putting my studio behind it means the fundraising does not depend on how much time I have between classes. It depends on the work.

So 10% of all MakeAndUpdate project revenue goes to THON.

THON raises money for Four Diamonds, which supports children and families fighting childhood cancer at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital. Donations made on my campaign page are processed by THON and never pass through my studio.

THON is Penn State’s year-round, student-run philanthropy, best known for its 46-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon each February. Students organize, fundraise, and dance so families fighting childhood cancer never fight alone.
