What does a typical project cost?
Every project is scoped and priced to you — you'll get a fixed quote before any work begins, usually within one business day of your message.
Do you work with small businesses?
That is my primary focus. Restaurants, salons, service businesses, SaaS, and local shops are the core of what I do.
How long does a project take?
Most websites go live in 2–3 days from kickoff — first looks in as soon as 24 hours. Timeline depends on scope and how quickly feedback and content come in.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes — monthly plans scoped to your site cover updates, security, and performance monitoring, or go pay-as-you-go with no monthly fee. Either way, you get the cost quoted up front.
What platforms do you work with?
WordPress, Shopify, GoDaddy, and custom HTML/CSS/PHP/JS. I recommend based on your goals, not personal preference.
Who handles the domain and hosting?
I do. MakeAndUpdate registers and manages the domain and runs the hosting, so there is nothing for you to renew or babysit — one person is responsible for keeping the site online and current. The custom design and code built for your project are yours once the project is paid in full.
What if I want changes after launch?
Every project includes a 30-day change guarantee — for 30 days after your site goes live, you can request small changes and tweaks at no charge.
Can I send files or a project brief?
Yes — after you send the form, email anything that helps to nicholas@makeandupdate.com: a brief, screenshots, a sitemap, notes, or examples. PDF, DOCX, PNG, or JPG all work.
