How heavy is your website?

Paste a link. I load the page, count everything it asks for, name the builder behind it, and tell you what is slowing it down.

One page per scan, about 20 seconds. I do not save the addresses you scan.

  • Server response timeHow long the first reply takes
  • Page weightThe HTML plus the size of every file it asks for
  • JavaScript and blocking scriptsWhat has to run before the page is usable
  • ImagesSizes, formats and lazy loading
  • Other companies in the loading pathTrackers, widgets and fonts from elsewhere
  • The builder behind itWordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and others

How the scan works.

  1. Fetch

I load the page once, the way a search engine would, and time how long the server takes to answer.

  2. Count

I read the HTML, list every script, stylesheet, image and font it asks for, and ask each one how big it is.

  3. Judge

I compare the numbers to Google’s published limits and to the targets I hold my own builds to, then list what to fix first.

Questions, answered.

Is the scan free?

Yes. No signup and no email. I built it so an owner can see what their site is made of before talking to anyone, me included.

Do you save the address I scan?

No. I do not keep the addresses people scan. The only thing stored is a counter tied to a one-way hash of your IP address, which stops one person running hundreds of scans.

What does it measure, and what does it miss?

It reads the page the way a search engine does: the HTML, then each file the page asks for. It does not run JavaScript, so a page that builds itself in the browser can look lighter than it is, and it does not measure real visitors. For real-visitor Core Web Vitals, Google's PageSpeed Insights shows field data, and the results link to it.

How is this different from PageSpeed Insights?

PageSpeed Insights runs a full browser and reports Core Web Vitals. This scan is quicker and plainer: it counts what loads, names the builder behind the site, and says what I would change first. Use both.
