Why am I invisible on Google?

By Nicholas Cabel The 60-second version lives on Instagram

You searched your own business name and you were not at the top. The usual reason: you have Facebook, Instagram, maybe a Maps pin, but you do not own any of it, and none of it is a home Google fully trusts. Without a website you own, you are a rumor, not a result.

In plain English

Renting space on someone else's platform is like being a guest at someone else's party. You can hand out cards, but it is not your house, and you cannot control who sees you. A website you own is your own address that Google can actually rank.

What a real website fixes

01

You own it

It is your property, not a profile that an algorithm or platform change can bury overnight.

02

Google can rank it

A real site is something Google can crawl, understand, and place in results for the searches that matter.

03

Customers trust it

A proper website reads as a legitimate, established business in a way a lone social page does not.

Worth remembering

81% of people research a business online before they visit.

With no findable website, you are out of the running before the customer even leaves the house. They look, they do not find you, and they pick whoever they did find.

What to do about it

If your business lives only on social media and a map pin, a website you own is the fix. Get a free audit and I will show you where you are showing up and where you are not.
